Some of my paintings are done on stone that has been cut and lightly polished, then professionally mounted and framed. In this case, I have rendered this polar bear on a slice of petrified wood. It is approx. 11 X 11 inches square. SOLD.

This incredible bird truly is Great, and a thrill to see in the wild. The shape of this cut stone reminded me of his huge wingspan as he swoops through the forest. Alot of detail, but a joy to paint! Shown framed below.

This cut stone is called scenic dendrite, found in the Souris River Valley. Souris, Manitoba is well known for its variety of rocks and minerals. This painting is shown framed below.
