This old tree root was kickin' around the goat pasture for the longest time, and kept catching my eye. It finally hit me, what a wonderful canvas for a wood duck! Standing at 8 inches high and 10 inches across, this piece is sold.

Sasha was painted on a 7 inch square piece of white alabaster, a soft sculpting stone that makes a lovely smooth surface to paint on.
