Seawall

As past member of the Gimli Art Club, I had the opportunity to take part in painting on the Gimli Sea Wall on Lake Winnipeg. It is known as one of the longest outdoor galleries around, displaying the works of many talented people. Here I am putting the finishing touches on one of two murals, this one entitled Faces of the Interlake.

Beaver and Bunny

A flat stone was the perfect shape of a beaver, which I later mounted on driftwood. The bunny was painted on petrified wood, and mounted on a piece of white alabaster to represent the snowdrift. (Note the little mousehole and tracks in the snow). These rocks found a home in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
